When Costko detects a price drop on an item you've purchased, you'll receive a push notification. Tap it to view the item details, then head to the membership or service desk at your warehouse with your original receipt (or member card — they can look it up). Warehouse stores typically refund the difference on the spot. You have 30 days from your original purchase date to claim.
Tap the "+" button on the Receipts tab, then point your camera at your receipt. Costko's AI will automatically extract all items, prices, and the purchase date. Make sure the receipt is flat and well-lit for best results. The scan usually takes 5–15 seconds.
Costko monitors prices for 30 days from your purchase date — matching the standard price adjustment window. After 30 days, items move to your receipt history. You can still view them, but active price tracking ends at day 30.
For best results: ensure good lighting (natural or bright overhead), keep the receipt flat without folds, and hold the camera directly above. Thermal paper receipts can fade — if your receipt is old or faded, try a higher-contrast photo. If scanning still fails, you can contact [email protected] with a photo and we'll process it manually.
On any product page or in the Trending tab, tap "Notify me" to add an item to your watchlist. When that product comes back in stock at a warehouse in your region, you'll get an instant push notification. Alerts are based on your general location (city/metro) — not precise GPS. You can manage your alert list from the My List tab.

Go to the Profile tab in the app → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, all receipts, all tracking data, and any stored images. This action cannot be undone. Alternatively, email [email protected] with your request and we'll process it within 48 hours.
Yes, Costko is completely free to download and use. There's no subscription, no in-app purchases, and no premium tier. Core features — receipt scanning, price tracking, alerts, trending deals — are all included at no cost.
